​EIDOS  offers the following protection systems:

PROTECTION BOX FOR THE ELECTRONIC UNIT
The stainless steel enclosure  protects the Electronic Unit from dust, humidity and water spray.

This enclosure is recommended when the working environment is dusty or very wet.

    
HEATER OF THE PRINT UNIT
The heating device controls the internal temperature of the Print Unit at a value around +20°C (68 F)  when the ambient temperature is lower than  5°C (41 F).
It is very important to work with a temperature higher than 5°C (41 F), not just for the printer machine, but also for the consumables:   Labels and Thermal ribbons.  These materials, at low temperature, lose their good performance and can also be damaged.

PROTECTION CAGE FOR THE OPERATOR
It is an aluminum structure with glass panels that covers the entire printer.  It is useful to protect the operator from the pallets running on the conveyor.
When the operator must work on the printer, in order to change the label roll and the ribbon roll.
